CFresh Onion COOPD'OR, of which STL is the subsidiary, is responsible for upstream management of our onion activity.

An R&D department based at the INRA (the national institute for agronomic research) enables different varieties of onion suitable for various specific uses to be developed.

The cooperative, which has Agro confiance® certification, collects 1100 hectares of onions and shallots annually from some sixty producers.

With a storage capacity of 13,000 tonnes and a modern optical sorting chain, the cooperative's production potential is now more than 60,000 tonnes per annum.

This production enables COOPD'OR to market 20,000 tonnes of whole or peeled onions on the European wholesale market (under the brand name LEGUM'OR) and ensure all STL's onion supplies, namely 40,000 tonnes. COOPD'OR has a turnover of approximately € 6 million.

The fresh onions are graded and packaged in nets holding 1 or 2 kilos, bags holding 5, 10, or 25 kilos and Big Bags containing 1300 kilos.
